Job Summary:
The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, processing, and performing statistical analyses on large datasets to provide actionable insights that support business objectives. This role requires strong analytical skills, an understanding of data trends, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection & Management:
Collect and organize large datasets from various sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Maintain and update databases as required.
Data Analysis & Interpretation:
Analyze data using statistical techniques and software (e.g., SQL, Python, R) to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Provide actionable recommendations based on data findings.
Reporting & Presentation:
Develop clear and concise reports and dashboards to communicate data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Present findings and recommendations in a compelling and easy-to-understand manner.
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, marketing, finance) to understand business goals and deliver data-driven insights that support those objectives.
Data Visualization:
Create visualizations and dashboards (e.g., using Tableau, Power BI) to effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and other business metrics.
Quality Assurance:
Perform data cleaning, validation, and testing to ensure the quality of data used for analysis.
Automation & Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to automate data processes and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Data Analytics, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) are a plus.
Experience:
