Senior Analyst – Portfolio and Solutions (Renew) Finance – HP Solutions

The Senior Analyst is part of a team of 5 in Portfolio and Solutions (Renew) under the Portfolio and Solutions Finance Director.

We are looking for a Principal with specific skills which would help the Portfolio and Solutions Finance team navigate in a moving environment and who would not be afraid of uncertainty. We need to build and develop an agile team ready to move quickly within the life of Renew businesses and other parts of Portfolio and Solutions and ready to develop more skills of the future. In this position, the Senior Analyst exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. They may provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees in the future when the team grows.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will not be limited to but will include the following:

New Business incubation enablement on Renew Offerings: Refurbished HW and Services under transactional or as a Service model, Licensing/Certification and Financing Solutions.

Process design and implementation on Finance activities

Represents the business unit Finance during cross-regional or cross- functional planning processes.

Work on Special Projects which may involve internal and external teams within Renew or Portfolio and Solutions.

Provides mentoring and guidance to analysts while leading a project.

Education and Experience Required:

First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) strongly preferred

Typically 10+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst, or related to Financing activities.

Experienced in process design and process implementation.

Strategic project management experience in both long term and short term projects, and from the project design phase to the delivery and the closure.

Typically experienced in a variety of finance functions.

Experience in Hardware category or Supply Chain.

Ideally start-up or entrepreneurship experience.

Additional Knowledge and Skills:

Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.

Excellent analytical skills.

Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Executive presentation experience with good command of presentation skills (developing presentation from scratch based on the required topic for executive level audience) are essential for this role.

Strong collaboration skills with various functions.

Can work under pressure and be able to work with various teams.

Can start with a white space.

Able to navigate through uncertainty.

Positive, self-motivated and team player.

Excellent business acumen.

Advance skills in MS office and other general HP tools (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel spreadsheet, Word document, Visio, SharePoint, OneNote, etc.).
