Schedule: Part-time
Under direction of the Associate Administrator in the Office of Exceptional Children:
Research special education policies
Analyze data and summarize findings
Present research results in written and graphical formats
Prepare presentations for stakeholder engagement
Communicate relevant and accurate information, clearly and concisely during formal or informal meetings
Collaborate with others to accomplish goals
Provide essential support such as arranging meetings, taking notes, and responding to routine inquiries
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Support the Dispute resolution team
Minimum Qualifications:
· Current enrollment in baccalaureate or graduate degree program.
Desired Qualities:
· Interested in education policy and research, specifically special education
· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
· Ability to write and communicate succinctly and clearly
· Capable of working independently and in a team setting
· Self-motivated
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Desire to work as part of a team and interact with the education community
· Experience working in a professional environment
