Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU night shift position requiring an OH or compact RN license and willingness to float to multiple units. Responsibilities

Work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) with potential floating to NICU, CV PICU, ED, stepdown, and med-surg units

Night shift schedule consisting of four 12-hour shifts per week, 19:00 to 07:30

Assignment spans the winter holiday season and requires availability through the New Year

Epic EMR experience required and utilized

No local candidates accepted within a 60-mile radius

Required to float to other critical care and acute care units as needed per assignment

Must comply with established policy regarding lateness and attendance

Holiday coverage through the New Year is mandatory

Consideration for weekend block scheduling is available if noted at time of application

First time travelers are generally required to have significant relevant experience Requirements

Active OH or compact RN license in hand required for consideration

Two years of PICU nursing experience highly preferred

Two professional references required, with at least one from a manager or supervisor

Epic EMR experience required

First time travelers considered on a case by case basis, generally with over three years of experience and Level 1 Trauma background

Must not have worked as a permanent staff RN for the facility within the previous two years Benefits
