Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with at least 2 years of circulate and scrub experience and an active OH or compact RN license. Responsibilities

Position is in the hospital Operating Room, covering a day/evening rotating schedule

Assignments include a mix of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts with shift options of 06:30-17:00, 06:30-19:00, and 10:30-20:30

Call and weekend shifts are required as needed

Case types include neuro, thoracic, ENT, ortho, general, plastics, urology, GU/GYN, free flaps, robotics (Da Vinci), and oncology

EPIC is used for electronic charting and documentation

Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing for various surgical cases

Collaboration with the healthcare team is essential to ensure optimal outcomes

All candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly after contract signature

Time off requests must be included with initial application

Former employees are eligible after a minimum 6-month break from the facility

Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers

Holiday and weekend work may be required

No guaranteed specific shift pattern (such as 4x10s), flexibility is necessary Requirements

Active OH or compact RN license required at time of consideration

Minimum of 2 years Operating Room RN experience required

BCLS certification is required

Circulate and scrub experience required

EPIC experience is required

Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program

At least 2 professional references required, with one from a supervisor or manager Benefits
