Responsibilities:
• Manage daily operations while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and operational efficiency.
• Create and implement strategic plans aimed at expanding markets, diversifying product offerings, and driving overall growth.
• Lead sales initiatives by identifying prospects, preparing quotes, and closing new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, referral partners, and carrier representatives.
• Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and oversee commission structures.
• Drive client engagement through onboarding, training programs, and retention strategies.
• Partner with executive leadership to develop marketing initiatives and strengthen the agency's brand presence.
• Undertake regular travel, accounting for approximately 50% of the role's responsibilities.• Proven track record of leadership experience in the insurance industry, ideally as an Agency Principal, Owner, or General Manager.
• Active insurance licenses, including Property & Casualty, Life & Health, and Surplus Lines.
• Strong strategic thinking abilities paired with solid business acumen.
• Excellent skills in communication, negotiation, and team building.
• Proficiency in agency management systems and related platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience managing a diverse portfolio across multiple insurance carriers.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum, coding, PMP certification, and content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
