Your Opportunity:

Taylor Warehouse & Fulfillment, a Taylor company, is looking for a Warehouse Manager to join our team at our Verizon Center in Grove City, OH!

Your Schedule:

7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, some weekends and off-shifts as business needs

Your Responsibilities:

Ensure a safe and positive work environment

Lead, coach, mentor, and motivate direct reports to achieve the optimum level of performance.

Develop and implement department goals and consistent procedures

Communicate expectations, timelines, processes and performance feedback to department personnel

Evaluate process methods for improvement

Provide training on all MHE (material handling equipment).

Ensure employees have appropriate training and other resources to perform their jobs

Review and continuous documentation of work cell SOP's to assist training

Provide performance feedback on an ongoing basis and writes and administers timely performance reviews

Ensure that customer focus and service is a priority

Support LEAN process transformation and seeks continuous improvement development

Communicate with other company leaders in cooperative planning and discussions

Manage the day-to-day operations with supervisors/associates

Oversee hiring, training, and maintaining employee relations

Ensure all jobs flow through the operation to meet customer SLA.

Responsible for controlling expenses, inventory control, and loss prevention.

Track Key Performance Indices, Quality, Production, and On-Time Performance.

Develop departmental budgets and control costs

Manage relationships with sales/customer

Responsible for working on various projects as needed

ISO Quality Policy; Scope of QMS; Management

You Must Have:

5+ years of relevant experience

Strong analytical and computer skills including; Excel and Word

Strong working knowledge of UPS, FedEx, and other manifesting systems.

Knowledge of operations of material handling equipment such as sit-down lift trucks, reach trucks and order pickers

We Would Also Prefer:

College degree or equivalent amount of experience preferred

Experience in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and utilizing bar code scanners
