Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for acute care and swing bed coverage, with occasional outpatient responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Work in an acute care hospital with swing bed and outpatient therapy coverage as needed
Patient caseload averages 8-10 patients per day
Responsibilities include coverage of both inpatient/swing beds and outpatient therapy when required
Uses Meditech Expanse for inpatient and swing bed charting, and ReDoc for outpatient documentation
Day shifts scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., five days per week
Main responsibilities include evaluation and therapeutic intervention for acute care, swing bed, and outpatient populations
Team-based environment with assignment variations based on patient and department needs
Familiarity with Meditech Expanse and ReDoc preferred
First-time travelers will be considered
Requirements
Current Physical Therapy license required if applicable
Two professional references required for consideration
Ability to float between acute care, swing bed, and outpatient therapy settings
Must provide a copy of driver's license and social security card upon request
