An elementary school in Westerville, OH is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position during the current school year. This role supports students from kindergarten through 8th grade, providing essential speech and language services to a diverse caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for K-8 students
Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor student progress
Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student needs
Maintain thorough documentation and comply with school and state regulations
Participate in team meetings and contribute to student intervention strategies
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology Certification (CCC) required
Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
Previous experience working in a school setting is highly desirable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students and staff
Ability to manage a caseload of K-8 students efficiently
