Description:
Handling, material handling equipment, proper use of personal protective equipment, location and proper use of safety apparatus, knowledge of hazardous materials, emergency response procedures.
Complete infrastructure of electricity distribution, steam generation etc
Operates storage, blending, milling and packaging equipment to prepare and transfer materials to production through to finished goods inventory.
Performs a variety of material handling equipment necessary for the safe and efficient movement of raw/in-process materials and finished goods .
Complies with GMP,IHQ-7 and ISO regulations and procedures for packaging, handling and storage of incoming, in-process and finished goods, including that which is quarantined, released and expired merchandise.
Subdivides and delivers batch ingredients utilizing good manufacturing and safety procedures based on production requirements.
Receives and stores raw material as per SOP, loads/unloads trucks in an efficient manner that minimizes material damage.
Updates receiving and disbursement records as appropriate.
Recognizes and corrects unsafe practices and unsafe equipment related to the job and area(s) of operation.
Provides timely physical inventory data.
Notifies supervisor and/or reorders materials from central warehouse and/or vendors in accordance with production needs and established guidelines.
Maintains clean and safe working conditions.
Notes and equipment malfunctions and promptly requests work orders to be issued to return unit to service.
Handles full range of packaging requirements including drummed, bagged or boxed product or materials.
Completes appropriate forms and documents necessary for proper material accountability and inventory control.
Maintains housekeeping and orderliness of work area.
Attends shift and morning PDR meetings.
Displays and promotes positive safety behaviors at all times, use proper personal equipment, appropriate safety tools, equipment and procedures that ensure self and others go home safe each day; that area and equipment operate at the highest safety levels; that all people in the area (maintenance, quality, visitors, contractors, etc.) comply with safety directives and keep area neat and clean.
All employees to be aware of and follow all client Life Saving Rules.
Ensure all SHE related training is current and up to date.
Involvement in setting up & reviewing SHE requirements, procedures, and instructions by participating in SHE culture on site.
Acts in such a way that safety awareness & accident prevention are considered in performing all tasks.
Shows leadership by working to SHE standards and encouraging employees to work to the same standards.
Supports plant and corporate initiatives as outlined in the manufacturing plan.
Follows the manufex work processes.
Receives frequent direction from Supervisor or other functional supervision.
Works independently to complete tasks based on knowledge of materials, procedures and records required for assigned work area.
May provide leadership to coordinate completion of tasks, e.g., loading trucks, prioritizing activities to meet the production schedule, storing materials, in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Has the authority to cease operations if there is a perceived quality or She related issue.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma Required
Hands on, someone motivated/self-starter, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) or manufacturing experience,
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, Operating machines/equipment

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
