Shift Details:
" 3 Days (12 hour(s)) 19:00-07:30, every 3rd weekend (3:30p-2a), Weekend hours would remain the same. Weekends are considered Friday/Saturday.
" Call one day every 6-10 weeks. We would like to also ask this person takes a call rotation one day either a Saturday or a Sunday every 6 weeks for 24 hours from 5a-5a would need to be available within an hour of the call.
" 26 week contract
Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team in the CT department of our Level I trauma center. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience, possess BLS and ARRT certifications, with AART Advanced certification preferred.
Work Environment: The position involves working in a dynamic emergency room (ER) setting with emergent inpatient needs. Our facility is a Level I trauma center, Stroke Accredited, and serves a diverse community.
Responsibilities:
" Perform CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and brain perfusion.
" Operate CT equipment efficiently and ensure high-quality imaging.
" Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
" Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
" Participate in on-call rotation as required, responding promptly to emergent situations.
Requirements:
" Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience.
" Current BLS and ARRT certifications required.
" AART Advanced certification preferred.
" Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
" Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
" Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and on-call duties.
