Qualifications & Experience Required:
National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification)
Minimum 7 years experience in a technical sales role within heavy engineering or manufacturing
Proven track record in selling shaft equipment, grinding machinery, and related engineering solutions
Strong project management and customer relationship management skills
Computer literacy in MS Office and Syspro (advantageous)
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve sales, revenue, and profitability targets within the allocated client base
Identify, develop, and maintain strong client relationships across industrial sectors
Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned to company goals
Follow up on quotations, manage project timelines, and coordinate with the workshop team
Ensure client satisfaction through clear communication and delivery quality
Review market trends and recommend pricing and discount strategies
Ensure compliance with SHEQ and quality standards
