Job Description
American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist with at least one year of recent experience for a skilled nursing facility assignment.
Responsibilities
Work primarily in a skilled nursing facility setting with some hours at an additional nearby location
Split schedule with main hours at one facility and support at another
Position provides care for adult and geriatric patients
Full-time schedule anticipated at 40 hours per week
Provide assessment and therapeutic interventions for adult and geriatric populations
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Document patient progress and maintain detailed records in accordance with facility guidelines
Participation in interviews may be required as conducted by facility leadership
Requirements
Minimum of one year of SLP experience in a skilled nursing or related setting
Current American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross certification required
Skills checklist for SLP completed within the past 12 months
Valid professional references required
License required if applicable
