As a Robotic Welder, you'll be responsible for applying welding and fabricating processes to metal and ensuring quality and customer standards are met. This is a first-shift position, with hours from 4 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
Roles and Responsibilities
Apply appropriate welding and assembly applications in a fabrication environment and process metals such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
Work according to layouts, work orders, and blueprints for robotic welding equipment. You will need to lay out and mark weld points on parts or sub-assemblies and position pieces to be welded into jigs and fixtures using measuring instruments and hand tools.
Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications.
Observe all standard safety practices and maintain and complete all required records.
Work in a safe manner as outlined during training and use prescribed safety equipment, including personal protective equipment (PPE).
Perform all other duties as assigned. Requirements
Successfully pass a skills-based assessment that evaluates your reading, math, inspection & measurement, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
A minimum of three years of experience in a steel or industrial manufacturing setting is preferred.
Extensive MIG welding experience and TIG welding experience are preferred.
Robotic welding experience is required.
Experience with forklifts and overhead cranes.
Physical ability to pass a physical requirements exam for vision, hearing, and mobility.
Successful candidates will be enrolled in a registered apprenticeship program as part of their onboarding.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $21.00 - $25.00
