Job Description Artificial intelligence (AI) is emerging as a major driver of transformation in the information technology sector.

AI-based solutions are proliferating in all areas, including many IT processes, from automating user support and optimizing IT operations to designing intelligent and adaptive architectures.

This development comes at a time of intense pressure on IT departments, which must balance performance, security, agility, and cost control.

In this context, the central issue of the internship consists of analyzing the current state of the market for AI solutions applied to IT uses, in particular in three key areas: IT support, where AI helps streamline incident management, improve user experience, and reduce resolution times through chatbots and predictive analytics.

IT operations, where AIOps (Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations) tools transform monitoring, anomaly detection and proactive infrastructure management.

IT architecture, which is evolving towards more dynamic and intelligent models, integrating self-configuration, continuous optimization and resilience capabilities.

The objective is to map the solutions available on the market, assess their maturity, concrete use cases, observed benefits and limitations, while identifying emerging trends.

This analysis will allow them to form convictions for strategic recommendations to effectively integrate AI into their IT environments, taking into account their specific challenges.

Etude Attached to the Swiss office of Wavestone, the objective of the internship is to study trends in terms of use of AI solutions by and for CIOs, and to establish a state of the art on the subject in terms of good methodological practices.

Preparatory work: The start of the internship will be marked by a scoping note aimed at precisely defining the outlines of the study and the research problem(s), drawing on Wavestone's existing knowledge of the market and the subject.

In addition, the scoping note aims to align the expectations of Wavestone and the research laboratory with the internship deliverables.

We offer an internship based around the following objectives: Study the different market strategies and approaches for integrating AI into their IT environments.

Analyze AI adoption strategies by CIOs and its use Identify the criteria and factors that guide you towards a particular strategy (technological maturity, level of digitalization, internal skills, business strategy, budget, etc.) Carry out competitive intelligence on major market trends (benchmarks from firms, Gartner, Forrester, IDC reports, etc.). Mapping AI solutions applied to IT uses, IT support and IT architecture Provide an overview of available solutions (publishers and AI solutions) and their concrete use cases in the following areas: IT support: chatbots, virtual assistants, ticket automation, NLP for incident classification.

IT Operations (AIOps): intelligent monitoring, anomaly detection, failure prediction, remediation automation.

IT Architecture: Automated architecture repository, infrastructure optimization tools, AI for cloud resource management, intelligent auto-scaling.

Assess the technological maturity of solutions (Proof of Concept, scale deployment, feedback). Identify the observed benefits (cost reduction, improvement in service quality, productivity gains). Identify the obstacles and limitations (integration cost, complexity, acceptability, data security). Propose recommendations for integrating AI into IT environments Provide a decision-making framework for CIOs wishing to integrate AI into their IT processes.

Define evaluation criteria for choosing a suitable AI solution (ROI, scalability, IT compatibility, governance, etc.). Propose a typical roadmap for an AI project in IT (steps, milestones, success indicators). Identify best practices and key success factors from feedback.

Evaluate solutions and best practices designed to meet business realities Using knowledge of Wavestone's client environments, determine market trends and expected and measured results.

Evaluate this empirical data with the solutions and best practices designed for the previous objective.
