What You'll Do?
Responsible for developing, executing, maintaining test cases and validating test results for software systems, with a focus on manual functional and integration testing of moderate to highly complex systems. This position provides clear and concise feedback to management on the production readiness of the software being tested, ensuring that systems meet the highest standard of quality, end-user requirements that are practical to obtain
Key Responsibilities:
• Reviews application requirements, technical design documents, and project documentation.
Asks follow-up questions to gain full understanding of:
• Completeness of requirements.
• Testability of requirements.
Requirements & Testing Repository Management
• Provides actionable feedback to requirements owners to improve clarity and completeness.
• Logs requirement-related defects in the designated Testing Repository tool.
• Ensures all requirements are accurately entered or imported into the Testing Repository system.
• Develops detailed test cases based on:
• Business requirements.
• User stories.
• Technical design documents.
Ensures test cases provide full coverage and traceability to requirements.
• Executes test cases and validates test results.
• Records test results in the Testing Repository tool.
• Delivers assigned work accurately and on time.
• Identifies potential quality issues.
Ensures resolution of:
• Defects.
• Bugs.
• Errors.
• Configuration issues.
• Inoperability flaws.
Education & Credentials
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software/computer engineering, business, or a related field; or a combination of post high school education and experience.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid
Experience:
2 years of quality assurance analyst experience. Knowledge and ability to apply quality principles and follow best practices of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Technical Skills:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint.
• Demonstrated mid-level experience with industrial testing tools including SmartBear products, Selenium, JIRA, and Test Runner.
• Skilled in writing and executing SQL queries; experienced with Oracle Fusion and MuleSoft interfaces.
• Knowledgeable in software testing life cycle best practices across various methodologies and frameworks.
