CNC Laser Machine Operative

We are looking for a CNC Laser Machine Operative in the Wednesbury area of the Midlands to join a busy, forward-moving team in the Aerospace, Automotive, Energy, and Defence sectors. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in high-spec manufacturing.

Immediate start

Training provided for the right Candidate

Possible permanent position after a successful trial period

Core Duties:

Operating Trumpf & Adige CNC Laser machine.

Using software to locate material by order number

Reading and interpreting technical drawing

Signing off completed jobs through internal system

Using measuring tools (Verniers Micrometres)

Quality checking parts for defects

Printing labels and verifying order accurately before despatch.

Skills and experience:

Previous experience in a factory environment essential

Confident to read technical drawings

Basic knowledge of using Measuring tools

Strong work ethic and motivation to learn

Able to follow instructions and communicate clearly

Hours of work Rotating:

06:00 – 14:00

14:00 – 22:00

Rate of pay:

£12.21/hr

£12.81/hr Level 1 – After 6 - 12 weeks

£14.00/hr Level 2 – After 12 weeks

Overtime

£15.37/hr - after 38hrs Saturdays £17.93/hr Sundays £23.05/hr
