Required Skills & Qualifications
B.E. / B. Tech. / M. Tech. in electronics, electrical, or instrumentation engineering.
7 to 10 years of related design/test engineering experience.
Hands-on experience with testing platforms such as HITL, SITL, and system level.
Strong understanding of control design principles and communication protocols (e.g., Serial RS232/422, CAN, Ethernet).
7+ years exp with Python
7+ years exp with Matlab or Simulink
7+ years exp with Automation Testing
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work hands-on in test labs and on locomotives.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Experience in developing test procedures for control software and electronic systems.
Familiarity with manual/automation testing, Python, Linux, Matlab/Simulink, HIL, and MIL Testing.
Background in embedded systems testing.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Participate in design/system requirements and specification reviews.
Develop and maintain test plans and procedures for control software testing on various platforms.
Analyze test results and ensure software quality before deployment.
Develop automation scripts to streamline testing processes.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to identify and resolve issues.
Produce periodic status and operational reports.
Contribute to the development of new testing tools and techniques.
