Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Critical Care Float Pool ICU position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and advanced critical care skills. Responsibilities

Work in a hospital-based Critical Care Float Pool

Float among various ICU units including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICU, Medical ICU, CVICU, and Cardiology/Diagnostics

Shifts are weekend days, 3x12 hours, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM

Expected to float to ICUs of equivalent or lower acuity as needed

Uses EPIC EMR and proficiency is required

Role involves providing care to patients in multiple ICU specialties based on staffing and acuity needs

Previous travel RN experience is strongly preferred

All candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly after contract signing

Locals are accepted at the same pay rate

Former employees may be eligible if separated for 6 months or more; current employees are not eligible

Schedule flexibility and ability to adapt to different ICU settings is essential

RTO (time off) must be included for consideration Requirements

Active OH or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration

Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required

Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Proficiency in EPIC EMR system required

Skills required: IV start, telemetry, ventilator management

Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program

Two professional references required, with at least one from a manager, director, or supervisor Benefits
