We are looking for an enthusiastic Placement Position Test Cell Operations to join our team _Test Cell Operations Business and Pre-test Team_ in Darlington,UK. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!

This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer of 2026

CLOSING DATE: Wednesday 12 th November 2025

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

+ _Working towards a BEng or MEng Degree in a technical space (Mechanical Engineering, Motorsports Engineering Etc.)_

+ _Confident in working in both as an individual and in team environments_

+ _Assured communicator with confidence in interacting across various levels of management_

+ _Self Driven with a keen key for eye for quality and setting high standards_

+ _Experience Working in / leading Teams either through education or work_

+ _A basic knowledge of diesel engine fundamentals and practical hands on experience (in this field or another)_

+ _Knowledge of Power BI, also working with support of AI is a plus._

**QUALIFICATIONS**

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

+ _Supporting The Test Cell Operations Manager and Pre-test Team Leader with day-to-day tasks and ongoing projects_

+ _Investigating and solving issues in order for the department to meet it’s right first time and Productivity Targets_
