The IT Data Risk Analyst for the Enterprise Data Services and Governance team will work as part of the larger to support company-wide data governance and risk management functions to ensure alignment with the greater goals of the enterprise.
Primary Responsibilities:
Participate in and support the completion of the Security Self-Assessments
Participate in and support the completion of regulatory reviews and internal audits
Participate in the creation, documentation, review and approval of policies and standards
Participate in the identification and analysis of risks
Aids in the performance of the data management maturity assessment
Able to articulate both inherent and residual risk and communicate control requirements
May provide counsel on common methods to address gaps and execute controls
Develop business and technology team knowledge to better understand processes, metrics, and required controls
Participates in the documentation and maintenance of risk program and initiatives related to data
May assist in the remediation of issues found with data policies and standards
Documents and maintains processes as needed
Gathers data and provides reports and metrics in accordance with guidelines and service level agreements (SLAs)
Able to effectively communicate control requirements
Aids in fostering a culture of risk awareness and understanding of Huntington’s data policies and strategies
Partners with Technology Segment Risk Managers to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders with business partners and IT technology teams
Contributes to teams continuous improvement culture by applying critical thinking skills and experiences to make suggestions
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Strong business and technology aptitude with a willingness to learn and understand business and software solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate and present scope, requirements, and issues clearly and concisely
Experience with Word, EXCEL, and PowerPoint
Ability to build strong partnerships and to work collaboratively with all business and IT areas
Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
