The Role
We're seeking an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technician to deliver planned and reactive maintenance across HVAC and refrigeration systems - including chillers, package units, split systems, ventilation and filtration. In this mobile role, you'll support a wide range of client facilities, ensuring systems run efficiently, safely, and reliably, while partnering with the BGIS team to deliver industry-leading service.

What You'll Be Doing
Install, test, maintain and repair heating, cooling, and refrigeration equipment
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical defects in HVAC systems
Inspect, maintain and service chillers, refrigeration, ventilation, and BMS systems
Perform preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns across client sites
Foster strong client relationships and ensure service delivery meets KPIs
Provide technical support and mentor apprentices where required
Participate in on-call roster for after-hours support
Ensure compliance with WHSE processes, industry standards, and BGIS systems
Your Education, Experience & Skills
Trade qualification and licence in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (mandatory)
Refrigerant Handling Licence (Arctick)
Restricted Electrical Licence
White Card (General Construction Induction)
Current manual driver's licence (essential)
1-5 years' experience in a similar HVAC/refrigeration role
Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic environments
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full working rights in Australia (essential)
