Facility Operations Specialist duties include: serve as building coordinator and respond to emergency and maintenance building and equipment issues; coordinate space assignments, custodial requests, repairs, maintenance, office moves, procurement needs, and renovation projects within Cunz Hall; communicate with OSU facilities team, outside contractors, faculty, staff, students and others to research and resolve issues and schedule, track, and coordinate, and communicate status updates throughout a project to completion; serve as primary point of contact for FOD contractors, security, police, fire, and utilities inspectors; maintain capitalized-equipment inventories and audits, physical access management and controls; coordinate asset management tasks including tagging, auditing and surplus of assets and surplus property; partner with Office of Technology and Digital Innovation to execute the Managed Information Technology services (MITS) service level agreement; serve as co-chair to college’s Facilities Committee which serves in an advisory capacity to study, clarify, and formulate policy and procedures related to the allocation and management of physical assets and facility resources; facilitate exiting employee office clean-up and new employee office set up which includes, furniture, phone, IT equipment, and building access; manage/respond to space requests from students, faculty, staff and visitors; assist with event planning and management as it relates to building access, safety, and space usage; coordinate the Emergency Action Plan and Business Continuity Plan by updating and disseminating annually after leadership approval; perform other duties as assigned. Assists with Lab Space operations (e.g., lab coats, swipe access audits);

Position requires weekend, nights, and/or holiday hours as necessary to respond to emergency facility issues.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Pay Range: $24.76 - $32.33

Salary will be determined by education, experience, internal equity, and budget allowance.
