Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

Greet and screen individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment.

Provide customer service by assisting visitors, patients, and staff with inquiries and directions as needed.

Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to screening and access control.

Monitor entry points and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Maintain accurate logs and documentation of screening activities and any incidents that occur during the shift.

Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and on-site staff to support security-related operations and emergency response activities.

What We’re Looking For:

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

Provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
