Locum - Physician - OB/GYN

Join a vibrant hospital setting in Grass Valley, California, and become part of our dedicated Family Birthing Center, featuring a specialized Labor & Delivery floor complete with its own OR for C-sections. Here, you will manage a busy practice, with an average of 23-30 deliveries per month, while benefiting from collaborative support from anesthesiologists, general surgeons, and pediatricians. Job Responsibilities:

Conduct deliveries and perform C-sections.

Provide emergency department call coverage for OB/GYN-related issues.

Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient records.

Collaborate actively with a skilled support staff for enhanced patient care.

Participate in orientation and training sessions as needed. Qualifications:

Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (or be within 5 years of eligibility).

Demonstrated performance of at least 100 gynecological surgical procedures in the past two years.

Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency in obstetrics and gynecology. License and Certification Requirements:

Current California Medical License (REQUIRED).

DEA certification (REQUIRED during credentialing).

Malpractice coverage (PREFERRED).

Availability at time of name clear (REQUIRED).
