Are you a hands-on, skilled Fabricator or Welder looking for a rewarding, dynamic role? Elliott & Wragg, a well-established company with a reputation for high-quality structural and general steel work, is expanding our team! Immediate start available for the right candidate.

Location: Tideswell, Buxton, SK17 8PQ

Salary: £14 - £17 per hour + paid overtime (time + 50% or double time depending on shift

Hours: Full time, Monday-Friday (7:45am-4:15pm)

Extras: £1 per hour when working away, plus paid accommodation & travel

What You’ll Do:

Fabricate and weld structural and general steel projects

Work both in our workshop and on customer sites

Read and work to technical drawings and specifications

Ensure high-quality standards and safe working practices

Who We’re Looking For:

We value skill, dedication, and a strong work ethic. Experience is preferred, but training can be provided for the right candidate. Ideal candidates will have:

Experience in structural steel or heavy engineering projects

Ability to read technical drawings

Relevant welding/fabrication qualifications

Experience with MIG / MMA welding (TIG desirable)

Teamwork skills and the ability to work independently

Other suitable backgrounds: Manufacturing Operative, Production Operative, Skilled Operative, Sheet Metal Worker, Fabrication Engineer, Structural Steel Welder, Heavy Engineering Welder.
