As an Asset Integrity Engineering Technologist, you will create new drawings, review mechanical contractor turnover documents, update Asset Integrity records and walking systems. Your goal will be to work with and support cross-functional teams such as Mechanical Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Area Teams, and others, developing and revising inspection drawings for pressure vessel and piping system and circuits. Your success will be to gain experience and a better understanding of the Asset Integrity and Quality Assurance group.

Your Responsibilities:
With Quality Assurance supervision, prepare or revise basic inspection drawings
Working with the Asset Integrity Teams to ensure any project related inspection drawing scopes are identified and development
Assist Area Inspection Teams as required; support any Day to Day, RBI and Turnaround Inspection drawing development or updates
Assist with the development of Inspection Management Plans
Coordinate and prioritize inspection drawing updates with the Asset Integrity Team
Prime liaison with Technical Document Control and Quality Assurance for up-to-date and easily accessed document record keeping
Other duties as required within the team to achieve operational goals
Your Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD, both 2D and 3D
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, including P&IDs, isometrics, plot plans, etc.
Good knowledge of common engineering concepts, practices, and procedures
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong technical writing skills
Analytical thinker who enjoys finding solutions to problems
Willing and able to continuously learn both through formal training and self-study
Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint
This is also a field position, so you must be able to bend, stoop, crawl, climb heights, and enter confined spaces while wearing all required PPE
Your Experience:
Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in a Mechanical Engineering Technologist role or closely related field
Minimum 2 years of work experience in an industrial environment
Inspection experience in welding, NDE or coatings would be considered an asset
