Position Summary
We're seeking a passionate, polished, and guest-centric Bartender to join our beverage team. You'll craft cocktails, engage guests, and help elevate our bar experience to match The Boat House's elevated cuisine and upscale yet approachable vibe.

Competitive Pay: $15 / hour plus tips
Responsibilities:
Craft cocktails, mixed drinks, beer & wine service with consistency and quality
Deliver exceptional guest interactions recommendations, upsells, and service with flair
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar (mise-en-place, garnishes, tools)
Ensure responsible alcohol service (check IDs, monitor consumption)
Manage cashouts, POS transactions, and bar closing/opening procedures
Work closely with kitchen and service staff to time drink service with food
Maintain inventory, order bar supplies, and report shortages
Help develop seasonal cocktail menus, specials, and promotions
Requirements:
2 or more years of experience as a bartender in a high-volume establishment
Strong knowledge of mixology, beer and wine
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong guest service skills; warm confident and adaptive
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
TIPS or similar certification (can obtain upon hire)
Attention to detail, cleanliness, and standards
Team player and enthusiastic to provide excellent and engaged service
Food Handlers certificate
Physical Demands:
Regular lifting, moving and carrying of food items, furniture, garbage etc. weighing up to 30 pounds across the restaurant
Regular and prolonged standing and walking inside and outside the restaurant during a 6-8 hour shift with appropriate breaks
Regular ascending/descending stairs
Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
Frequent use of hand to finger motions, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms
