Now Hiring: Welders – $21/hr

Location: Ottawa, KS Full-Time 50+ hrs/week with OT

Pay & Schedule:$21/hr starting pay

• 2nd Shift

Must be flexible to work up to 10-hour days + Saturday overtime

Average workweek: ~50 hours

What You’ll Do:

Weld materials in all positions (ground level, above, below)

Perform FCAW, SMAW, GMAW, and SAW welding techniques

Follow AWS & AISC standards to ensure top-quality welds

Prepare materials by grinding, chipping, and finishing

Weld structural components like plates, girders, tanks, and beams

Operate cranes to transport materials safely

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace

What We’re Looking For:

Proficiency in FCAW, SMAW, GMAW, and SAW welding

Experience welding steel, aluminum, and structural materials

Ability to read blueprints, welding symbols & technical drawings

At least 12 months of stable welding experience (structural preferred)

High school diploma or GED required

Must pass AWS D1.1 weld test
