Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to support hiring for a global leader in critical infrastructure and energy solutions. Focus on recruiting hardware engineers, mechanical engineers, and project managers in the energy and manufacturing sectors.
Required Experience (3+ Years)
Recruiting Background
3+ years technical recruiting with proven success filling:
Hardware Engineering roles (electrical hardware, power systems, embedded systems, control systems)
Mechanical Engineering roles (thermal systems, manufacturing equipment, structural design)
Project Management roles (engineering projects, manufacturing operations, infrastructure deployment)
Must have experience recruiting specifically for energy, manufacturing, or critical infrastructure sectors (power generation, data centers, industrial facilities, utilities, renewable energy)
Full-cycle recruitment from sourcing through offer close
High-volume recruiting with aggressive hiring targets
Technical Knowledge
Strong understanding of hardware and mechanical engineering disciplines
Familiarity with project management methodologies and technical certifications (PE, PMP, NETA, EPA)
Knowledge of energy/manufacturing industry landscape and technical requirements
Understanding of critical infrastructure systems and industrial operations
Sourcing Skills
Advanced Boolean search and creative sourcing strategies
Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and engineering-specific job boards
Experience building talent pipelines for passive candidates
Networking within engineering communities and professional associations (IEEE, ASME, ASHRAE, PMI)
Systems & Tools
Proficient with Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday, Taleo, iCIMS, Greenhouse)
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel for metrics tracking)
Data-driven recruitment and reporting
Key Responsibilities
Partner with hiring managers to understand technical requirements for hardware, mechanical, and project management roles
Develop and execute sourcing strategies for engineering talent in energy/manufacturing sectors
Screen candidates for technical competency and hands-on experience
Conduct technical pre-qualification interviews
Manage candidate pipeline and ensure positive candidate experience
Coordinate multi-stage technical interviews and assess technical skills
Negotiate offers and close candidates in competitive market
Provide market intelligence on salary trends and talent availability
Track metrics and optimize recruitment processes
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
3+ years technical recruiting with focus on hardware engineering, mechanical engineering, and/or project management
Proven track record recruiting for energy, manufacturing, or critical infrastructure companies
Strong understanding of engineering roles and technical requirements
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently in remote environment
Proficiency with ATS and recruiting tools
