Job Description

Our client, a large healthcare retreat center, is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join their compassionate team in Clarkston, MI. This is a great opportunity for nurses who want to provide person-centered care in a supportive, team-focused environment.

Schedule Options (Per Diem)

Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Evening Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Pay Rate: Days: $32.35, Evenings: $ 33.96

Key clinical aspects of the job include the following:

Responsible for the coordination of residents’ care over a 24-hour period to maintain continuity of care. Also supervises on each shift the assigned nurse aides and medication technicians. Manages the Healthcare department and all non-exempt and contractual positions when the Director of Nursing is absent consistent with the mission, vision and values of the Society of Jesus.

What You’ll Do!

Coordinate resident care and ensure continuity across shifts.

Supervise nurse aides, med techs, and LPNs to ensure quality care delivery.

Administer medications, IVs, and treatments per physician orders.

Assess residents and update care plans with the interdisciplinary team.

Support and mentor team members while promoting a positive, respectful workplace.

Step in for the Director of Nursing when needed.

What We’re Looking For!

Active Michigan LPN license.

1–3 years’ nursing/charge experience (long-term care preferred).

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Compassion for working with older adults, including those with memory care needs.
