A Day in the LifeAs the Tender and Contract Analyst for the Netherlands region, you'll oversee the full lifecycle of tenders, contracts, and offers. This includes all administrative tasks from tender announcement until tender contract expiration, guiding and assisting the business in setting up all types of contracts and creating/maintaining regular offers. Acting as the key administrative point of contact, you'll collaborate with teams like Finance, Legal, and Customer Service to support contract creation and manage offers. You'll also contribute to improving processes within the Pricing, Contracting, and Tender teams, ensuring efficiency and smooth operations.
You will cover the Belux region and report to the Tender & Contract Supervisor BeLux. You are expected to work from our Eindhvoen office 2-3 times per week.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Conduct daily reviews of published tenders, ensuring relevant opportunities are promptly communicated to the appropriate sales teams
Take ownership of the tender process within your region, managing every stage from the kick-off meeting to submission, while ensuring seamless administrative follow-up and regular updates.
Act as the go-to expert for internal customers, addressing tender-related inquiries with clarity and efficiency
Provide strategic guidance to sales teams on selecting the most suitable contract types and deliver accurate, approved quotations to support their efforts
Actively participate in contract negotiations with customers, ensuring all necessary steps are meticulously followed to finalise agreements
Prepare customer contracts based on pre-approved templates, verifying that all conditions and pricing are authorised before forwarding them for signature
Track and manage the lifecycle of contracts, including monitoring opportunities for yearly price adjustments, ensuring timely follow-ups with sales teams, and addressing actions like renewals, cancellations, or securing signed agreements from customers
Required Knowledge and Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in tenders, contracts, procurement, or a similar field, demonstrating a solid understanding of the processes involved
Fluency in Dutch, both written and spoken, with a strong command of English to effectively communicate in a professional setting
Proficient in contract management, with excellent collaboration, organisational, and coordination skills to ensure seamless execution
Highly detail-oriented and rigorous, with the ability to communicate effectively at all organisational levels as well as with external customers
Strong time management, workload organisation, and prioritisation abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently
A self-motivated and proactive team player with a positive attitude, dedicated to contributing to team success and fostering a collaborative work environment
We highly value additional skills such as prior experience in the medical device industry, proficiency in SAP/Vendavo, and a strong background in project management.
