Job Summary

Ibarra Group LLC is a Certified MBE/DBE Steel Fabricator and Steel Erector based in Chicago. We are seeking a Welder Fabricator to become an integral part of our team! The Welder will use specialized equipment to weld and assemble new metal forms.

Responsibilities:

Perform Various Welding Operations

Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products

Install and repair various equipment and components

Follow blueprints to meet product specifications

Calculate material measurements to verify specifications

Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance

Team Collaboration

Qualifications:

Must be proficient in reading blueprints and shop drawings

Minimum 8-10 years experience

Experienced in fabrication of Steel Stairs / handrail / Structural Steel / Fence

Must be able to manage and work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely completion of fabrication and welding tasks

Problem Solving and Troubleshooting welding issues

Familiarity with welding tools and procedures

Ability to handle physical workload
