Keller Trucking currently has an opening for Mobile Mechanic.

Mobile Mechanic - Duties and Responsibilities include:

Perform PMs and repairs on heavy duty trucks and trailers at various off-site locations such as drop yards and customer lots.

Read and comprehend service troubleshooting guides using OEM software such as Cummins Insite, Tech Tools, and Diagnostic Link

Maintain an intermediate to advanced level of skill in diesel aftertreatment, air brakes, electrical and lighting systems and other major engine components

Perform yard checks at off-site locations and complete repairs as needed

Perform safety and annual inspections in accordance with FMCSA regulations

Install, mount and dismount tires

Maintain inventory in mobile service truck

Interact courteously and professionally with drivers, vendors, and customers.

Process repair orders and complete tech notes on digital work orders

Special Requirements

Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent

At least 3 years of experience or its equivalent in training

Experience with OEM software is preferred

Brake certification in accordance with FMCSA § 396.25 required

Basic computer skills such as email and Word
