Job Description Summary
The purpose of this job is to perform a variety of manual and semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance and repair of equipment, facilities, and grounds.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by employees in this job. Maintains cleanliness of city facilities.
Conducts preventative maintenance of structures and equipment; performs minor repairs to fixtures as directed.
Assists with ordering, maintaining, and distributing supplies.
Repairs or replaces appliances and equipment.
Paints prepared surfaces.
Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
No supervisory authority. Work may require providing guidance and training to others.

Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
1 year of related experience.
Licenses or Certifications
Depending on the assignment, it may require Pesticide Applicator Certification or other relevant certification.
