Responsible To: Building Principal and District Division Chair of Social Science

Location: Upper Campus

Calendar: 180 Day / School-Year Employee (prorated based upon start date)

Daily Schedule: M-F - 7:15 am - 3:00 pm

Salary and Benefits: Eligible for medical benefits and paid leave. Salary is based on years of experience and education attainment. Please see the McHenry Community High School Educators' Association Collective Bargaining Agreement located at for more information on salary and benefits.

Qualifications:

Issued Illinois Professional Educator License

History or similar endorsement is required

Bilingual or ESL endorsement preferred font-size: 10pt">Ability to create engaging lessons, teach, and support students in their learning

Ability to create a positive learning environment

Ability to work closely with other staff members

Responsibilities:

Teach 9-12 grade high school students in the content area of social science

Must perform all responsibilities, classroom and supervisory, in a professional manner as expected of all district teachers
