Danville Metal Stamping Co., Inc. is hiring for an Electronics Technician. Electronics Technicians are responsible for the maintenance, repairing, and troubleshooting of the electronic systems of machinery utilized to fabricate aerospace engine parts.
Essential functions of the position include:
Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electronic aspects of CNC Controls, resistance welding equipment and fusion welding equipment
Perform LOTO as required
Work in confined spaces and aboveground on scissor lifts, ladders, and other various pieces of equipment as needed
Daily communication with employees at all levels of the organization and vendors when needed
Lifting up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
Walking and/or standing 8 or more hours per shift
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications for the position include:
Education in Electronic Technology or related field is strongly preferred
Demonstrated on the job experience of maintenance and repair of electronic systems within machinery is required
Demonstrated knowledge of PLC's
Demonstrated knowledge of robotics is strongly preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of reading schematics
Compensation & Benefits Summary
Pay Range: $20.00-$25.00/hr.
