Information Systems Administrator
Reports to: Infrastructure Director Status: Non-Exempt
Location: Crook County Medical Services DistrictPOSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for providing technical support to users and maintaining CCMSD's information systems infrastructure, including hardware, software and network components. This position is responsible for ensuring that the systems are secure, reliable and up-to-date and that they meet the needs of CCMSD staff and stakeholders. Will work closely with other members of the IT Team to troubleshoot problems and implement solutions. Additionally, they will work closely with other CCMSD Departments to understand their needs and recommend system improvements. Will also provide any needed staff training related to CCMSD systems.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:Essential duties and requirements include the following (Other duties may be assigned):
Provide end user technical support to hospital, clinic, and long-term care staff for Cerner EHRs, Windows 11, Office 365, and other systems via phone, email (Teams) or in-person.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues related to the hospital software, hardware, and network.
Assist with the implementation, maintenance, and updates of the various
Monitor system performance and resolve any issues that
diagnose and resolve issues with servers, desktops, laptops, printers and other IT
Installing and configuring software applications and operating systems
In collaboration with IT leadership to manage and monitor the company's infrastructure, including servers, switches, routers and firewalls.
Assist with the implementation and maintenance of security measures to protect organizational data and systems.
Assist IT leadership in maintaining IT documentation, policies, and
Collaborate with other IT teams and vendors to ensure that the hospital's systems are running
Keep accurate records of all support requests and Work with various vendors to resolve any issues with the hospital's systems that cannot be resolved in-house.
Maintain a high level of knowledge about the EHR and other IT systems and stay current with any updates or changes.
Maintain Hospital windows server environment with comprehensive backup resources
Adhere to hospital policies and procedures related to IT security and data
Ensure the hospital's systems follow all relevant regulations and standards (HIPAA, HITECH, etc.).Qualifications
Education
Certifications in IT support systems or networks are
An associate's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is
Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong understanding of EHR systems, specifically Cerner EHR
Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to EHR and other IT
Knowledge of Windows operating systems, hardware, and
Effective communication and customer service
Familiarity with healthcare regulations and standards (HIPAA, HITECH,)
Ability to pass a background
The ability to drive to our clinics in nearby towns to provide on-site support as
Knowledge of Hyper-V
Knowledge of Linux
Knowledge of Active Directory preferred.
