Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN with at least 1 year of recent telemetry experience for a Med/Surg/Tele unit night shift role.
Responsibilities
Work in a Med/Surg/Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
Night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Care for a diverse adult patient population requiring telemetry monitoring
13-week travel contract assignment
No local travelers permitted within a 50-mile radius
Responsibilities include providing telemetry and medical-surgical nursing care to adult patients
Documentation and reporting must align with hospital standards and requirements
No first-time travelers indicated
Applicants with Canadian Social Insurance Numbers are not eligible
Requirements
Active IN or compact RN license required
Minimum of 1 year recent telemetry experience required
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Current certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment
Driver’s license required for consideration
US Social Security Number required for consideration
Travelers must not have been employed as permanent staff at any Community Health Systems facility within the past 2 years
RTO requests must be less than 1 week in length
