Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a part-time Ultrasound General/Vascular Technologist with 2+ years' experience and required ARDMS and BLS certifications.
Responsibilities
Work in a diagnostic imaging setting with a focus on general, abdominal, OB/GYN, and vascular ultrasound studies
Part-time schedule up to 30 hours per week with either 8 or 10 hour shifts
Responsibilities include performing, recording, and analyzing quality control data for ultrasound studies
Equipment includes ultrasound modalities covering general, vascular, abdomen, OB/GYN, and small parts
Utilize PACS and EMR systems for imaging and order completion
Responsibilities include assisting radiologists, maintaining equipment, and performing patient transport
Must accurately perform and analyze a range of ultrasound exams while maintaining a safe environment
Maintain clinical competency through ongoing education on protocols and equipment
Strong skills in communication, active listening, and teamwork are essential
Flexibility to adjust hours and cover additional shifts as needed
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited school of ultrasound
Minimum 2 years of experience as an ultrasound technologist
Current BLS/BCLS certification required
ARDMS(AB), ARDMS(OB), and ARDMS (RVT) required or preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100+ lbs, with frequent bending, stooping, and reaching
License required if applicable
