This position is responsible for daily supply chain activities in the procedural areas to include forecasting, requisitioning, inventory control, and implant/consignment management, while utilizing lean supply chain practices. Manages case picking of supplies and collaborates with clinical staff to maintain accuracy of preference cards. Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the two bin Kanban system in procedural areas. Communicates with clinical and supply chain staff, and vendors regarding supply chain issues, including but not limited to, expiration tracking, cycle counting, annual physical inventory, par level analysis, product trials, product conversions, product discontinuations, preference card management, storage location flow and overall organization. Ensures accreditation and audit processes are maintained in accordance with current standards. Proactively monitors, investigates, and resolves charge capture errors to prevent supply shortages, stockouts, and missed revenue. Works with clinical and other supply chain staff to investigate new items and equipment, providing valid data analysis related to cost savings, volume, and other metrics.
Minimum Qualifications:
For Hire: High school graduate with at least two years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Inventory control experience in a hospital setting preferred.
