As a Senior Value Stream Manager, you will oversee daily operations across multiple production shifts, partnering with Demand Management, Purchasing, Materials, Lean/CI, Quality, and Facilities to ensure on-time, efficient, and cost-effective performance. You’ll manage all aspects of supervision, including staffing, workforce flexibility, onboarding, and employee development. The role focuses on achieving production goals through strong leadership, process discipline, and continuous improvement—measured by results in quality (FPY), safety (DART), and productivity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Serves as a key leader, empowering and motivating cross-cultural teams, clearly communicating goals, and fostering collaboration across geographies.
Leads and improves daily manufacturing operations across multiple shifts to ensure on-time delivery, productivity, safety, and quality goals (FPY, DART, efficiency).
Partners with Demand Management, Purchasing, Materials, Lean/CI, Quality, and Facilities to drive cost-effective and high-quality production performance.
Implements and sustains Lean Manufacturing initiatives, driving continuous improvement and annual cost reductions through process optimization and waste elimination.
Applies problem-solving methodologies (8D, DMAIC, PPS, A3) to address root causes and support corrective action implementation from audits or performance gaps.
Manages production planning and resource allocation, ensuring personnel, equipment, and schedules align with business priorities and customer demands.
Oversees all aspects of supervision, including staffing, onboarding, training, cross-training, coaching, and performance management.
Ensures a safe and compliant workplace, conducting regular safety inspections and ensuring proper incident reporting and prevention practices.
Takes ownership of Value Stream P&L, analyzing cost drivers, monitoring product line margins, and identifying improvement opportunities.
Builds strong relationships and influence across teams and with external customers, traveling domestically and internationally as needed.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering, MBA preferred.
8–9 years of experience in supervisory and leadership roles.
Experience in the medical device industry or knowledge of industry standards is a plus.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills (B2 minimum)
Proven ability to lead and develop multidisciplinary teams effectively.
