As Senior Accountant, you will experience collaborative and multi-faceted accounting groups across the organization. Supporting the Manager and Senior Manager, your role will be to coordinate and execute the quarterly consolidation and close process that drives the financial statements ensuring accounting integrity and accuracy. They are looking for solid Accountants interested and experienced in monthly and quarterly closing, deposits and reconciliation, tracking and recording expenses, processing payments, and tax remittances. You will maintain corporate-level internal control documentation to ensure the financial statement process is SOX compliant and assist in integrating new assets/acquisitions into the consolidated accounting and reporting process.
The Ideal Candidate will hold a degree in Business Administration, Accounting or a related field and have a CPA designation. The candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of progressive experience in public accounting and will require a demonstrated understanding of IFRS reporting and US GAAP, good ERP skills, and works well in a collaborative team environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent attention to detail and a solid ability to maintain and establish priorities. Strong communication skills (oral and written) and English is essential; bilingualism is considered an asset.

Demonstrated experience with IFRS reporting and US GAAP, combined with advanced ERP system proficiency.
Canadian CPA designation with at least 4+ years of progressive experience in public accounting.
Exceptional accuracy and a proactive approach to maintaining and improving corporate-level internal controls, ensuring compliance with SOX requirements.
Proven ability to handle complex quarterly consolidations, reconciliations, and integration of new assets into financial reporting.
Strong oral and written English proficiency, with bilingual capabilities considered a significant advantage.
