Administration Assistant - CSSC

Worcester (office based)

£25,292 - £26,623 per year

35 hours per week

We have a great opportunity for 6 x Administration Assistants to join our new team based in our head office in Worcester. The role of Administration Assistant will sit within the Corporate Shared Service Centre (CSSC). The team will be responsible for completing all administration tasks within the CSSC alongside records management activities, including the creation, maintenance, storage, retrieval, and disposal of physical and digital records. As the role will require the physical handling of documents, including boxes and files, some heavy lifting will be required, as well as standing and walking for prolonged periods.

This is a new team therefore it’s a great time to join as the role will evolve once team has been established.

The role of Administration Assistant – CSSC will include:

Assist in the delivery of all administration tasks

Organise and prepare physical files for scanning

Operate scanners, validating scanned documents for accuracy and completeness

Manage the storage of large volumes of physical records

Locate and retrieve physical records from storage to assist with queries

Maintain confidentiality and data protection standards

Skills and experiences:

Excellent attention to detail

Excellent organisational skills

Proven experience of working to deadlines

Good communication, interpersonal and customer care skills

Basic Microsoft Word and Excel

Role salary is £22,993 with an additional policy allowance of £2,299 per annum (rising to £24,203 with an additional policy allowance of £2,420 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
