Salary: $36hr-$40hr + OT & Company Vehicle
Position Overview
The Dirt Foreman will oversee and manage all earthwork operations on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role involves leading a team, coordinating with other departments, and maintaining high standards of quality in all aspects of dirt work.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage all dirt operations on construction sites.
Coordinate and schedule work activities with project managers and site supervisors.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Conduct pre-job briefings and safety meetings with crew members.
Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines.
Train and mentor crew members on best practices in earthwork and installation techniques.
Maintain equipment and ensure it is in good working condition.
Communicate effectively with subcontractors and other stakeholders regarding project requirements.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Foreman in earthwork and dirt operations.
Strong knowledge of earthwork techniques, including topsoil and clay management.
Experience with utilities and underground installation projects.
Familiarity with GPS technology and its application in construction.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
