PLC TechnicianPosition Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing, troubleshooting, programming, and maintaining PLC systems in an industrial or manufacturing environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and safety of automated systems.Key Responsibilities
· • Install, program, and maintain PLC systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, etc.)
· • Diagnose and repair PLC system faults, wiring issues, and I/O failures
· • Modify and update existing PLC programs based on operational changes or upgrades
· • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
· • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and testing on automated equipment
· • Collaborate with engineers, electricians, and maintenance teams to support operations
· • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations
· • Document troubleshooting steps, modifications, and system changes accuratelySchedule & Work Environment
· • Monday to Friday; occasional evenings, weekends, or emergency callouts
· • 8–12-hour shifts depending on project demands
· • Industrial and manufacturing site environmentsCompensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $28.00 – $38.00 per hour (depending on experience and region)

Required Qualifications
· • 2+ years of experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting· • Proficiency with at least one major PLC brand (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)· • Understanding of ladder logic, function block diagrams, and HMI systems· • Ability to read electrical schematics and perform panel wiring· • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills· • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally to job sitesPreferred Qualifications
· • Associate degree or technical diploma in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or related field· • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification· • Experience with SCADA systems, VFDs, and industrial sensors· • Familiarity with Ethernet/IP, Modbus, or other industrial communication protocolsPhysical Requirements
· • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs· • Standing, walking, climbing ladders, and working in elevated or confined spaces· • Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions (hot, cold, dusty, loud)
