Injection Molding Process Technician – 3rd Shift $27–$30/hr Sun–Thurs 10:30PM–7:00AM
Adecco is hiring an experienced Injection Molding Process Technician to join a leading manufacturer in the Columbus area. This position plays a key role in maintaining high-quality production standards, ensuring smooth operation of molding equipment, and supporting continuous improvement efforts in a clean, safety-focused environment.Position Overview
The Injection Molding Process Technician will perform a wide range of tasks including machine setup, process optimization, troubleshooting, and first article inspections. This individual will use a scientific approach to maintain a controlled molding process, support production efficiency, and help train other technicians.Pay & Schedule
Pay: $27.00–$30.00 per hour (based on experience)
Shift: Sunday–Thursday 10:30PM–7:00AM
Assignment Type: Temp-to-HireEssential Responsibilities
Set up and maintain controlled injection molding processes using a scientific and systematic approach
Perform mold cleanings, mold setup, and mold pull activities
Conduct first article inspections, capture molding conditions, balance cavities, and complete all required documentation
Troubleshoot molding defects and make minor mechanical or electrical adjustments to equipment
Monitor production for accuracy, efficiency, and quality compliance
Train, mentor, and support setup and process technicians
Lead and participate in continuous improvement and lean initiatives
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and proper use of PPE
Perform material handling and light maintenance duties as neededQualifications
3+ years of injection molding setup or manufacturing experience preferred (or equivalent certification)
Strong knowledge of plastic processing and mold cavity balance
Experience with take-out robots, EOAT, and hot runner controls
Basic hydraulic and pneumatic system knowledge
Ability to interpret mold and mechanical drawings
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
Safety-driven and detail-oriented
High School Diploma or GED required
Must be at least 18 years oldWork Environment
Clean room manufacturing environment
Ability to sit or stand for long periods depending on assigned equipment
Must occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
Computer or touchscreen data entry required
Safety shoes required; casual but professional dress
Pay Details: $27.00 to $30.00 per hour
