We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team in Syracuse, New York. This is a Contract-to-permanent position within the healthcare industry, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care and administrative efficiency. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring smooth clinic operations and providing exceptional service to patients.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare patient charts by printing facesheets, organizing documents into folders, and gathering required consult materials.
• Ensure all necessary clinical information is readily available for patient visits.
• Submit and monitor the status of Release of Information forms generated during the checkout process.
• Actively manage and maintain a full schedule for Nurse Practitioners to optimize clinic operations.
• Provide backup support for patient check-in processes as needed.
• Coordinate schedules and appointments to enhance workflow and minimize disruptions.
• Utilize CRM tools such as EPIC for accurate record-keeping and patient data management.
• Answer inbound calls professionally and assist with patient inquiries.
• Generate charts and graphs to support reporting and documentation needs.
• Associate’s degree or completion of relevant college-level courses, coupled with at least two years of administrative or office management experience.
• Proficiency CRM systems.
• Strong skills in managing inbound calls and responding to patient needs.
• Experience with medical charting, patient records, and related documentation.
• Ability to coordinate schedules and ensure operational efficiency.
• Familiarity with authorization processes and handling patient-related forms.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Willingness to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment.
