About the Role:
Join our Quarry Production team as a MEPEO / Quarry Engineer, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring environmental compliance, operational efficiency, and safety in quarry operations. This position is key to driving sustainability and regulatory alignment across our mining activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Environmental Leadership (MEPEO Focus)
Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of Environmental Protection and Enhancement Programs (EPEP/AEPEP) and Final Mine Rehabilitation/Decommissioning Plans (FMR/DP).
Ensure timely submission of environmental reports to DENR/MGB and other regulatory bodies.
Manage Mine Trust Fund and facilitate Multi-partite Monitoring Team (MMT) and Mine Rehabilitation Fund Committee (MRFC) meetings.
Promote environmental best practices, including carbon footprint reduction, waste utilization, and water recycling.
Develop emergency response protocols for environmental incidents.
Operational & Compliance Support
Represent the quarry in ISO/IMS initiatives (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
Prepare and analyze production reports.
Enforce safety policies and conduct risk assessments.
Qualifications:
Licensed Mining Engineer
Minimum 5 years of experience in mining/quarry operations and environmental work
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong communication skills in English
