Shifts Available: (overtime is required)
7:00 am - 3:30 pm
3:30 pm - 10:30 pm with a 5% shift differential
10:30 pm - 7:00 am with a 10% shift differential
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components according to engineering specifications. Your role will involve interpreting blueprints, adjusting machines, and ensuring quality assurance to meet production goals.
Responsibilities
Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
Utilize blueprints to set metrics in CNC and program per engineering metrics.
Set up machines, break down machines, perform preventative maintenance, and replace basic components to ensure production continues.
Set stops or guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule, or template.
Use micrometers, calipers, and gauges for quality assurance on manufactured products.
Position workpiece against stops or align layout marks with die or blade.
Observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction.
Measure workpiece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation.
Remove burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from workpiece with powered hand tools.
Perform minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or workpieces.
Perform minor program changes, properly save and check them.
Stack, mark, pack, and transport finished workpieces.
Operate hoists and cranes to move product as needed throughout shift.
Rivet and/or spot weld workpieces as needed.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in machining, including blueprint reading, micrometer, gauge, and digital caliper usage.
Experience with FANUC CNC and HAAS machines.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings for metrics.
2-5 years of experience strongly desired, or equivalent training in a machine tool program.
High school diploma or GED required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with digital micrometers and calipers required; manual experience can be taught.
Experience from a job shop or manufacturing in a relatable field such as CNC, machining, or technical machine operations.

Work Environment
Work in a non-temperature-controlled plant with expansive production areas, including over 20 CNC workstations and 40 welding bays. The facility can get hot in the summer, but we provide refreshments and fans for comfort. Work attire includes jeans or work pants, short or long-sleeved shirts, with steel toes required for safety. Hearing and eye protection are mandatory in all manufacturing departments.
